I have the best patients, and so many of them share their personal stories with me, which I love hearing. But today was hard. Today, one of them hit home, and I couldn’t help but cry because it was about Lewy Body Dementia.

Every day I try to push the word “dementia” out of my mind and forget it isn’t haunting our family daily, but today it found me…. and I couldn’t help but cry in the bathroom at work.

If you know, you know💔

The pain is so intense and always there, and a constant feeling of grief over and over at each stage.

The clock ticking is a blessing. Awful disease. But also - you don’t want them to suffer for anymore than they have too. Life is incredibly cruel.
