WATCH TILL END! 📹 A police raid at a Shiv Sena leader’s home in Punjab took an unexpected turn when footage from a hidden camera pointed to the policeman himself allegedly planting the drugs. Assistant Sub-Inspector Sukhdev Singh has been suspended after CCTV footage allegedly showed him hiding a packet beneath a mattress at Mahant Kashmir Giri’s residence in Khanna. A police team subsequently searched the room, claimed to recover 30 grams of narcotics from the same spot and arrested Giri. The footage reportedly shows an officer in plain clothes entering the bedroom before the official search and slipping a package under the mattress. Giri’s family produced the recording after his detention, bringing the circumstances of the alleged recovery under scrutiny. The police action had followed the arrest of Giri’s driver, Gurjant Singh alias Janta, allegedly with another 7.5 grams. Police said Giri’s name emerged during his questioning. Khanna SSP Darpan Ahluwalia confirmed that Giri was discharged from the case and the officer suspended. A Special Investigation Team headed by an SP-rank officer will examine the incident, while a separate departmental inquiry is underway. Investigators are also checking where the allegedly planted drugs came from.
Congratulations to James Brooks and Bob Trumpy, represented by his family, for being inducted into our Ring of Honor.
What’s the Point of Apologising After the Damage Is Done? The Mr. Patlu incident involving Jass in Sialkot raises a serious question: why create such a situation in the first place? What is the point of apologising after everything has already happened? Public figures must understand that their actions have consequences. Respect, responsibility, and maturity should come before controversy, not after it. An apology may be appreciated, but wouldn’t it have been better to avoid the situation altogether? #MrPatlu #Jass #Sialkot #ViralControversy #SocialMedia
