In this piece, the lyre stands for the enduring presence of music and poetry within the human spirit. The work draws inspiration from the Greek god Orpheus, whose voice and lyre could sway rivers, stones, and hearts alike, and who has long haunted my imagination. I wanted to show how a melody can live inside someone long after it has been played, shaping their inner world in a calm, almost sacred way.
She is not Orpheus himself, but she carries his essence. The lyre symbolizes that timeless inheritance how art takes root in the soul and remains there, quietly guiding and transforming us.
