10 months agoI hope my daughter gets the happiness I didnt got and not my overthinking mind
10 months agoNo , I want her to be like that . Although it's not because I'm like that but because i crave to be like you guys . I envy you guys for being so strongly independent while me ? Huh... I'm 21 and still dependant on my parents for my own expenses . You know what happened when I told them about wanting teach students so that I could earn money for my own expenses. My father yelled at me and completely forbidden me to do that because he said since he's wealthy enough to provide(he's got stable govt job) so i should totally focus on my study like ?. And then there's my mother she also encouraged that I shouldn't do this because I can't handle all together well . This incident happened around 2023 I think . Even apart from this , both my parents pampered me (only child ofc).i truly don't hate it but it gets annoying day by day how strong every girls become because they were taught to be independent since childhood. On the other hand , they still don't fully trust enough or let me do work . But yeah ofc i learnt my own things on my own without anyone's help that's another thing . But hyper independent is actually very much needed . So from my perspective it doesn't end well . I just love and hate my parents at the same time . I just ... Feel envious that I cry for it everyday . If you want to argue on me giving excuses then idk what to let you know cause I've been dealing with mild depression for almost 2 years . Always build autonomy in your childhood
10 months agoI definitely want her to be independent but not so independent that she will never call her parents for help. She will first call me and her dad when she will be facing problems with something
