Last night in France, a 143-year-old city hall was deliberately burned to the ground. The clock tower collapsed. A historic symbol of order and civilization was destroyed by a masked mob.
Palestinian flags flew in those crowds. This wasn’t about the cost of living. It was hatred — of the French flag, of institutions, of authority itself.
These are not protesters. They are criminals. They should be arrested and prosecuted without excuse.
Europe keeps watching the same failure: radical elements attack the symbols of the West while politicians make excuses. A republic that cannot defend its own city halls will not survive.
We stand with the people of Limoges. We demand accountability. And we reject any ideology that celebrates the destruction of Western civilization.
Order is not optional.

There’s something wonderfully improbable about falling in love with someone who lives on the other side of the ocean.

Of all the people in the world, all the places we could have been, and all the circumstances that had to align for our paths to cross, somehow, we found each other.

And a few weeks ago, the woman I fell in love with from thousands of miles away flew across an ocean to spend three weeks with me in Brooklyn.

I’ve been trying to find the words to describe what those weeks meant, but I think the most beautiful part was how wonderfully ordinary it all felt.

The laughter, the adventures, the ridiculous conversations, the quiet mornings. The way we could spend hours doing absolutely nothing and never want to be anywhere else. Discovering all the little things about someone that you can’t quite learn through a screen. Realizing that the person I’d fallen in love with from afar was somehow even more extraordinary up close.

For a long time, I thought healing meant becoming someone who couldn’t be hurt again. But I’m learning that maybe it means having the courage to remain open to something beautiful, even when you know how vulnerable love can make you.

And what a beautiful thing this has been.

There’s something extraordinary about two people living entirely different lives on opposite sides of the world finding each other and feeling so profoundly understood. About someone feeling so new and yet so wonderfully familiar. About love making thousands of miles feel impossibly far away and somehow irrelevant all at once.

I’ve spent years studying what makes people feel connected, valued, and worthy of love. Yet here I am, still marveling at the experience of being human. Of finding someone who sees you, chooses you, and makes ordinary moments feel extraordinary.

I don’t know what the future holds. But in a world of eight billion people, finding a love like this feels like a one-in-a-million kind of miracle.

And perhaps the most beautiful lesson life keeps teaching me is that there are still wonderful things waiting to surprise us.

Sometimes, they even fly across an ocean to find us ✈️

Finding my laughter again. 🤍

Learning to be a kid again. To laugh a little louder, play a little more, and stop taking everything so seriously.

To find joy in the simplest moments. The wind in my hair, the sand beneath my feet, and those unexpected moments when I feel completely free.

I’m learning that not everything needs to be figured out. Some things just need to be felt.

Less holding on. More letting go.
Less worrying. More living.
More of the little things that make me feel alive.

And maybe that’s your reminder too.

Go play. Be silly. Laugh until your belly hurts. Let the wind mess up your hair.

Life doesn’t always have to be so serious.

There’s still a little kid in all of us waiting to come out and play. 💛✨
