From beginner to Kona in 3 years 🥹

When I tied the start line of @ironman_uk Bolton in 2023 I wasn’t ready. My longest ride had been 80 miles. I’d never done an open water swim event. I’d only done 2 sprint triathlons. I fuelled with jelly babies and malt loaves.

Somehow I crossed the finish line in 14.5 hours. That’s when first found out about Kona because I got a slot. It’s been a journey to finally get another and be ready (physically and financially lol) to take it and I’m so happy you’ve come along for it.

I’m not the most naturally talented at the sport (expect for maybe cycling? Idk why though) and certainly haven’t come from some secret background in like rowing or anything. I was just a girl trying to lose weight to feel better about myself. Then we tripped and fell and ended up doing triathlons? Not sure what happened tbh

So.. from beginner to Kona in 3 years… where do we reckon I can get to in another 3? 👀

‼️ So the internet basically showed us its guts this week 👀🥳

And Pluto is stationing direct in Aquarius, Venus is retrograde in Scorpio, and Mercury is already in shadow.

So the pattern? Something gets exposed, then you realize the first explanation wasn’t the whole story.

That can be huge and collective, or incredibly personal. A friendship. A relationship. Money. Work. A platform. A dynamic you suddenly understand WAY better than you did a week ago 😎

Pay attention to what’s making you go “oh… so THAT’S what was really happening.”

And maybe don’t marry yourself to your first conclusion just yet. Mercury hasn’t even officially gone retrograde.

What are you seeing differently this week? 👀
