3.5 years later, and somehow this chapter is already coming to an end. I still remember my first day, crying, and wishing I could just go home. I’m so glad I stayed. Winthrop has given me memories I’ll carry for a lifetime and shaped me in the most amazing ways. Being the first in my family to go to college has been overwhelming at times, but it’s also been one of the greatest blessings of my life.
To all the friends who laughed with me, encouraged me, and supported me through and through, thank you. My Winthrop experience wouldn’t have been the same without you. I’m leaving with more than a degree, I’m leaving with a heart full of gratitude and memories I’ll hold onto forever.
…BUT YOU CAN’T GET RID OF ME YET!! I’m sticking around for my master’s!! 🎓😇
