“I love this book. The narrative device that Mark Blake has employed works so well that it’s like watching a great documentary in your head.” — Lee Harris, guitarist Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets
“Bitchily entertaining” — Irish Independent
“Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here album has just had its 50th birthday, and if you want a candid insight into its creation – and everything else Floyd – then you can’t go wrong with Mark Blake’s new book, Pink Floyd Shine On.Stating a biography to be “definitive” tends to be a grand claim, but Shine On lives up to its subtitle” — Buzz Magazine
“A brisk account of the career of the beat curious Cambridge eccentrics who added whimsy, experimentation and theatrical excess to rock ‘n’ roll 8/10” — Uncut
“Mark Blake has done it again - another essential Pink Floyd book, full of new information, and a great companion to Pigs Might Fly” — Brain Damage, Pink Floyd News Resource
“Righteous and exhaustive account of one of the biggest bands of all time. If oral histories are generally more about sculpting than writing, then Pink Floyd Shine On is the Michelangelo’s David of the genre 5/5” — Record Collector
“The whole brilliant, sorry saga rendered through an echo-chamber of voices… the breadth of the interviews is impressive, the power struggles endless, and the anecdotes frequently telling 4/5” — Mojo
“Informative, funny, bitchy and sad. I love it” — David Quantick

![Newly released messages from #NolanWells’ phone are raising more questions about the circumstances surrounding the 18-year-old’s mysterious dea@h.
Nolan’s family has made public a nearly 300-page forensic report compiled by Garrett Discovery and verified by PEOPLE. The findings include private #Snapchat messages and conversations from 29 group chats, some of which continued after Nolan disappeared from #HornIsland on July 4. In one exchange, a person claimed Nolan was last seen around 6 p.m. walking back toward his boat with another man, writing, “he never disappeared with [redacted] when it was time to leave around like 6 he got off our boat with this other guy and thy started walking back to their boat.” Other messages suggested growing concern among the group, including “There is def some sus sh*t going on” and “Someone said [redacted] was acting weird too?”
________
The conversations also reveal how some of the people believed to be Nolan’s friends discussed handling potential police questioning. In one exchange, a person advised, “the smart move is to ask for an attorney and that doesn’t mean we’re guilty it just smart so we don’t get played by some potential bias cop.” Others urged the group not to make assumptions, writing, “Don’t speculate about sh*t yall” and “just stick to what you know happened.” Another message warned, “Bc they can try to get your a**.”
________
By July 14, conversations had shifted toward Nolan’s funeral and the growing public scrutiny surrounding those who were among the last to see him alive. One person suggested, “We need to go to Nolan’s funeral and get with all our other black friends to prove a statement for the media.” The newly released records come as Nolan’s family continues pushing for a federal investigation into his passing. A grand jury declined to bring criminal charges, claiming that his cause of de@th was consistent with drowning. However, it’s important to note that Wells’ autopsy found no water in his lungs. His loved ones remain unsatisfied with the grand jury’s decision and continue seeking answers.](https://s8.imginn.com/847048958_18475861114114396_3481868378089212293_n.jpg?t51.82787-15/847048958_18475861114114396_3481868378089212293_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_p1170x1170_tt6&_nc_cat=104&ig_cache_key=NDAwNzgzMTMzODU3MTc2MTQ5Mw%3D%3D.3-ccb7-5&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=58cdad&efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6IkZFRUQueHBpZHMuMTM1MC5zZHIucmVndWxhcl9waG90by5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=L1YcytHYgwUQ7kNvwEDpuFz&_nc_oc=Adoeflb2GzQEWSSuIkngCmkh1W1gupd8OYZjTE0zQoNdMKakcsD_Tm8scUgLlMxk_31GJp5M0eiGtbiT7gjhfSfb&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-ord5-2.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=OPo_eFsBTKh-YcKz3FDKzQ&_nc_ss=70689&oh=00_AQNht-eigmA53dADiTR80-QvLhcPEhGMHMYEr0eSunBecQ&oe=6AD750DE)
