As we come to the end of 2025, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what has been an incredibly challenging, emotional, but also inspiring year for Be Inspired.
This year has not been easy. We were deeply saddened by the loss of Adam, our Director, whose vision, passion and belief in young people remain at the heart of everything we do. We were also devastated to lose Clarence, a valued and much-loved member of the Be Inspired team. In the face of these losses, the strength, compassion and togetherness shown by our community has been truly humbling.
Throughout the year, we’ve come together in so many ways. From our 5K walk to the Quadrathlon and other fundraising efforts, we have raised over £4,000 so far – a figure that continues to grow every day. These funds will go towards delivering one of Adam’s programmes, the Elite Athlete Pathway, supporting particularly talented young people in boxing and jiu jitsu with high-quality training, nutritional support, and clear pathways into coaching or professional sport.

Beyond fundraising, we’ve achieved so much together. We’ve launched new programmes and initiatives, strengthened existing partnerships, and formed exciting new ones. We worked with more young people than ever before, held our first photography exhibition, and launched our Next Gen programme, supporting young people interested in youth work and sports coaching — with seven participants now working within Be Inspired. We are incredibly proud to have welcomed Hannes, a former service user, into the organisation as a Director, and to have established our Youth Alliance Panel, which meets regularly to ensure young people remain at the centre of our services, decision-making, and wider community work. None of this would have been possible without our incredible staff, our partners and stakeholders, the young people who inspire us every day, and the wider local community who have shown just how supportive and brilliant they truly are. Thank you for your ongoing support. As we look ahead to 2026, our focus is clear: making an even greater difference within our community and across Greater London, while strengthening our business sustainability to ensure our impact continues for years to come. We have so many exciting plans ahead and can’t wait to share what’s coming next with you. Thank you for standing with us throughout 2025 and for being part of the Be Inspired journey.
