Today I was awarded my black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by my professor and friend, @thiagorela. I haven’t been able to train like I would have wanted to this year, but here we are. Nearly 10 years in the making -with time off here and there for injuries and, most recently, a kidney donation. I’m excited to be back training regularly now. I can’t express enough gratitude to Thiago and all my training partners at @tra_jiujitsu. From my 1st stripe on my white belt ——> black belt, thank you Thiago. I’m very proud to be #27. The Relentless Art abides.
