Thinking of the people of Venezuela, especially the people of Caracas being b0mbed and the indigenous communities in the Amazon living near the Orinoco river, closest to Venezuela’s natural oil resources who will be impacted by a US invasion. Fishermen being attacked in the ocean close to Trinidad last year, Trinidad being closer to Venezuela than Tobago, should have been the warning needed for international communities to organise against US imperialism. The people of Venezuela are organised and been preparing for this attack on their government since the days of Chávez boldly resisting US imperialism. Love and solidarity with Venezuela, the Piaroa community we stayed and journeyed with in the Amazon early 2018. Thinking of how this will impact the people of Trinidad and Tobago and Colombia too. May Venezuelans be victorious in getting rid of American boots away from their soil. Shame on the government of Trinidad and Tobago who’ve welcomed Trump and the US to use their soil as a military base like Barbados allowed against neighbouring island Grenada, even though T&T’s own fishermen were attacked and murdered at sea when the US b0mbed boats last year. To a world free of US dictatorship playing God with the Global South, free from the insanity Trump upholds. Much love and strength to our people in Venezuela 🤲🏽❤️🇻🇪
