The concept for this show consists of two main ambitions; to share the music coming from London’s live community, and contextualise that music within the wider music sphere, past and present
‘Family Portrait’ is an attempt to investigate and connect the dots between the blossoming talent of artists emerging from within and around our community who fill grassroots venues every night, and the more established artists who have paved the way
We have also drawn from our interview archive, selecting clips from conversations that give an insight into the ethos’ and influences of specific artists we have work with
