冬の磯の宝石ダンゴウオ！The winter jewel of the tide pools — the lumpsucker! 🍡

冬になると繁殖のため浅瀬に上がってくるダンゴウオたちをスカウトできました🍡
お腹の吸盤でくっついてくれて、羽虫も気にならないほど愛おしさ爆発しました🥳

この日はライトに集まる羽虫が多く、ライトをつけたり消したり大変でした…気にならないほどの興奮でしたが🤣

うちでぬくぬく育って、子供たちに命を繋げてほしいと思います🙏
ヨコエビ頼まなきゃ！

I went night tide-pooling during the New Year holidays.
In winter, lumpsuckers come up to shallow waters to breed, and I was lucky enough to scout a few of them.

They gently stuck to me with their belly suckers, and they were so adorable that I didn’t even mind the tiny flying insects 🥳

There were so many insects gathering around the light that night — turning it on and off was a real challenge…

I hope they stay warm and cozy at home, grow well, and pass their lives on to the next generation 🙏

学名:Lethotremus awae
日本の太平洋側の冷たい海域に生息している海水魚です。
寿命は1年で、大人になっても2.5センチほどの小さな魚です。
彼らの仲間は腹に吸盤があり、海底の石や海藻にくっつき、体色を変化させ擬態して生きています。
