Tyson Thames

2025 was a packed year! I started out rehearsing for Urinetown and helping out with Nelson's choirs. Urinetown performed and I'm really proud of the work we all did. Then, I went to Disneyland with the Nelson band and played xylophone (very poorly). When spring hit, @miaserak and I went on LOTS of nature adventures during our free periods and had lots of fun. Then, I graduated high school!!! Just after graduation, I performed the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee directed by @jaredbeideck and had so much fun. Summer started and my family took a road trip down to Disneyland, where we stopped at Crater Lake AND the Redwoods. It was a magical time. Then, I moved to Pittsburgh! I started as a freshman Musical Theatre major in August and met SO MANY amazing people. My college family has helped me through a lot of first semester challenges, and I can already tell how much I've grown. Finally, I came home for winter break and got to spend lots of time with my family! Overall, it was a pretty great year for me, and I'm excited and curious for what's coming next.
