The Heilung behind Læknisgaldr
It’s about time we start talking about ghosts!
The spirits of life and consciousness surrounding us, travelling through us, and especially the ones inside of us, weaving our minds and bodies together. Some might be passed along, or even inherited from our distant forefathers, and some collected along the road in the present.
Through the ages people have called this by different names, however never managed to determine its exact appearance. What Is Consciousness? What is intuition, or gut feeling? What is the soul? By what means does the mind, for better or worse, affect the body and vice versa? And by what are they connected? Maybe it is our destiny that we will never fully comprehend these questions.
With Læknisgaldr we are aiming to start a dialogue with you about those spirits, life essence, consciousness, or whatever you wish to call them.
In the video, warriors are returning from battle far from home. When they return, they carry more than their bloody weapons. They return with dark spirits inside them, sickening their minds and bodies. Somehow, the violence they experienced stayed with them. Something unspeakably menacing has followed them home. What we today might recognise as posttraumatic stress is leaking into both their minds and their physical vessels.
A psychoactive substance is shared among them by the healers, and the process of shaking off the threatening spirits begins.
Will they finally heal?

IS 46 TOO OLD FOR A SUB-20 5K? 👀

I honestly don’t think so.

I only started running seriously about a year ago.

Before that, my main sport was cycling.

I started racing as a teenager and spent around 15 years competing, including mountain biking at a high level.

Then, years later, I decided to see what I could still do as a runner.

My current 5K PB?

20:35.

Not SUB-20 yet.

But only 36 seconds away.

And that’s what makes this interesting. 👀

I’m 46.

I’m not trying to run like I’m 25.

I’m trying to find out what I’m still capable of.

I still train calisthenics.
I still want to stay strong.
And now I’m chasing a sub-20 5K.

One year of running.
46 years old.
20:35 PB.

So the question isn’t:

“Am I too old?”

The question is:

“How fast can I still get?”

SUB-20 is the goal. 🔥

Do you think I can break 20 minutes at 46?

YES or NO? 👇
