✨Feat... Pastor Qadry Harris is a Ph.D. candidate in Africology and African American Studies at Temple University and an M.Div. graduate of Yale Divinity School. His scholarship examines African cultural retentions in the African American Church through the Afrocentric Paradigm, drawing on the work of Molefi Kete Asante, Cheikh Anta Diop, and Maatic ethics of the Nile Valley. Qadry’s work interrogates the theological and cultural consequences of dislocation in Black religious life while advancing Africology as a corrective metatheory. He also serves as a college minister and educator, committed to supporting Black doctoral students navigating the academy while remaining grounded in African-centered intellectual and spiritual traditions.
