What if a matcha café could hold two worlds at once
the quiet discipline of Japanese tea culture
and the everyday rhythm of a modern city?
I designed this space as a study in restraint.
Clean lines.
Natural materials.
Nothing ornamental without purpose.
The architecture was built in 3ds Max, explored and blocked in SketchUp,
and then slowly refined using AI not to decorate,
but to sharpen proportion, light, texture, and atmosphere.
Every surface, colour, and shadow was considered.
The green is muted, not loud.
The wood is warm, not rustic.
The space feels calm without feeling empty.
This concept was created for Amacha, a matcha brand based in Australia,
launching soon.
These visuals aren’t final marketing images
they’re part of the thinking, the shaping, the world-building that happens before a brand fully arrives.
I didn’t plan on releasing these yet.
But sometimes a space feels complete enough to share —
even before the doors open.
More coming soon.
For now, this is a glimpse into the process —
where architecture, ritual, and technology meet quietly.
