*Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind* is an American romantic science fiction film released in 2004. The screenplay was written by Charlie Kaufman, and the film was directed by Michel Gondry. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet star as a couple who have erased each other from their memories; Winslet altered her acting style for the role.[2] The cast also includes Kirsten Dunst, Mark Ruffalo, Elijah Wood, and Tom Wilkinson. The film’s title is a quote from Alexander Pope’s 1717 poem *Eloisa to Abelard*. It incorporates elements of psychological drama, science fiction, and non-linear storytelling to explore the nature of memory and romantic love.

A boy, a lifeboat, and a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker, adrift together on an ocean that looks like the inside of God's imagination. Life of Pi (2012) is Ang Lee's Oscar-winning visual miracle, the adaptation Hollywood called unfilmable for a decade, transformed into one of the most breathtaking survival stories ever brought to the screen and capped by a final question that quietly rearranges everything you just watched.

The mood is wonder floating on grief. After a shipwreck swallows his family and their zoo animals in the Pacific, sixteen-year-old Pi Patel, played in a stunning debut by Suraj Sharma, finds himself sharing twenty-six feet of lifeboat with four hundred and fifty pounds of apex predator, and the film becomes a duel, then a truce, then something dangerously close to love between species. Lee's imagery remains unmatched: the ocean mirroring the stars until sea and sky dissolve into one, the whale breaching through bioluminescence, the carnivorous island teeming with meerkats, every frame earning the Best Director Oscar and redefining what visual storytelling could do. But the film's true power detonates in its final minutes, when an older Pi, played by Irrfan Khan, offers insurance investigators a second version of his survival, stripped of animals and mercy, and asks the question that has haunted viewers ever since: which story do you prefer? The answer says nothing about the ocean and everything about faith itself.

What makes it a must-see is the double ending, an adventure for the eyes that becomes a mirror for the soul, different for every person who watches.
