June 12–19, I’ll be heading to Honduras for a medical mission trip, and if you’re a nurse or scrub tech who’s ever felt that quiet pull to serve beyond the OR walls, this is it. You go thinking you’re going to give. Your skills. Your time. Your heart. And somehow, you leave with so much more than you brought.

It’s long days, early mornings, and doing a lot with very little. It’s patients who say thank you and appreciate you . It’s being reminded why you chose healthcare in the first place. The gratitude is overwhelming, the joy is real, and the impact is deep.
