We had a 12 y/o bunbun, we let him go due to quality of life, but he could have kept going for at least another 6 month, he just wouldn't pass away on his own 🙄. Also had a 20 y/o chinchilla, he was my best friend ❤️ Current oldest is a 14y/o chin that hates me 🙃
