Veterinary medicine is not for the faint of heart! 🐍

Were you surprised about any of these answers? If you work with reptiles, what’s the worst bite you’ve received? 🐢

I officially have a new #rolemodel in life!! If you haven’t heard, this is Diego the Española #tortoise 🐢 (Chelonoidis hoodensis) who at 100 years old has saved his species from extinction💪!!! Due to Diego’s hero level libido he fathered 800 offspring in his breeding program and is now heading home to the Galapagos to retire😎. What more proof would one need to show that you’re never too old to be #great! Everyone please take a second and give a like to this #livinglegend💪💪. Thanks to him we should have these beautiful animals for generations to come. .

Well #happy #reptileawarenessday!! And there is no better way to celebrate this day than to try to make sure reptiles have a promising future. What better way to do that than to educate the next generation! I got the joy of doing a teleconference with an amazing third grade class! By helping them understand the important role we play in animals wellbeing and their future hopefully they will make sure we are able to enjoy all these wonderful species for generations to come!.....and man the great questions they asked 🤣 #kidssaythedarndestthings .
