Men should only apologize to their wives when God tells them to, and not simply to placate their wives. On the other hand, women be ready to apologize if their husband asks for it, even if they don't understand what they did wrong or agree on what happened. This is an act of submission on the woman's part. Whoever apologizes most often in the relationship is the one submitting to the other and that other person is the head in the marriage.

🔥 We separated sex from procreation.
Now we're wondering where all the children went.

For most of human history, sex came with an obvious reality: sex makes babies.
Modern society decided we wanted the pleasure of sex without its natural consequence. Contraception, sterilization and abortion gave us increasingly effective ways to separate the two.

Then we act mystified when fertility collapses.

God didn't design sex merely for pleasure. He designed it to unite men and women in marriage and produce the next generation.
“Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth...” — Genesis 1:28 KJV

And no, this command does NOT mean men should sleep around producing children with random women.

God's design is not merely SEX → CHILDREN.
It is MARRIAGE → SEX → CHILDREN → FAMILY.

God joined man and woman in marriage, made them “one flesh,” and commanded them to multiply. Children are meant to be born into families—to a father and mother joined in marriage.

We broke that design in both directions.
We separated sex from marriage through fornication and hookup culture. Then we separated sex from procreation through contraception, sterilization and abortion.
Some Christians insist contraception has nothing to do with abortion. I disagree. Here is the dirty secret about birth control pills - they can cause abortions as well by altering the lining of the uterus so that if an egg is fertilized it will have difficulty implanting in the uterus and then it is aborted. This is why some Christian physicians will no longer prescribe the pill for women.

Replacement fertility is roughly 2.1 children per woman. America's fertility rate is now only about 1.6—far below replacement and a record low. Remain substantially below replacement generation after generation and your people become fewer and fewer.

A civilization cannot indefinitely survive if it refuses to reproduce itself.

Children aren't an unfortunate side effect of sex that technology needed to eliminate.
They are how families—and civilizations—continue.

🔥 Trump Caves to Public Discomfort Over Livestreaming Hasan's Execution

President Trump reversed the decision to livestream the execution of Nidal Hasan, who murdered 13 people and wounded 32 others at Fort Hood in 2009.

Hasan was convicted in 2013 and is scheduled to face a firing squad in December 2026.

Trump acknowledged that broadcasting the execution could deter future crimes but reversed course amid public objections.

I disagree with Trump's decision.

This reflects the feminization of our culture: allowing emotional discomfort to override the stern demands of justice.

📖 Deuteronomy 21:21 (KJV)
"And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear."

📖 Deuteronomy 17:13 (KJV)
"And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously."
Notice God's purpose: "ALL ISRAEL SHALL HEAR, AND FEAR."

God established punishment not merely to bring justice upon the guilty but also to warn others against wickedness.

Public executions were not limited to biblical times. They remained part of American justice into the 1930s. The widely recognized last public execution occurred in Kentucky in 1936, although another public hanging was reported in Missouri in 1937.

Today, television and livestreaming allow millions to witness what ancient communities witnessed in person.

The technology has changed. The biblical principle of public justice and deterrence has not.

📖 Romans 13:4 (KJV)
"For he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil."

Executions should be solemn acts of justice, never entertainment.

Those who find executions disturbing can simply choose not to watch.

God said the people should hear and fear. Modern society says the people shouldn't even see.

You're at the gym, minding your own business, getting your cardio in.

Ten minutes into your hour-long treadmill workout, an attractive woman in skin-tight leggings gets on the treadmill directly in front of you.

Now you've got 50 minutes left. What do you do?

Before someone says, "Didn't you just argue that women should dress more modestly?"

Yes. And I stand by every word.

I believe gyms should have modest dress codes. I believe communities should establish public decency standards. Churches should have modesty standards, and husbands and fathers should establish standards for their households.

But there's a difference between the world as it SHOULD be and the world as it IS.

We live in a society where women routinely wear clothing designed to accentuate their figures. Men have to navigate that reality every day.

God designed men to be visually attracted to women. That attraction isn't sinful.

Jesus condemned looking to lust (Matthew 5:28), not simply noticing an attractive woman. Romans 7:7 connects sinful desire with coveting.

Men should exercise self-control. They shouldn't harass women or deliberately gawk at them.

But LOOKING IS NOT LUSTING.

And a man shouldn't be condemned simply because he notices an attractive woman who happens to be exercising directly in front of him.

So until society rediscovers modesty, men still have to navigate situations like this.

🔥 Where Does God Grant Women Divorce Rights in Scripture?

God established an order of authority in the family. The husband is the head of his wife (Ephesians 5:23), and children are commanded to obey their parents (Ephesians 6:1).

Civil governments did not create this order. Scripture establishes it.

Exodus 21:10–11 recognizes circumstances in which a neglected wife shall be freed from her husband. The passage does not specify who initiates or enforces that release.

But where does Scripture grant a divorcing wife automatic custody of her children, half the marital estate, alimony, or the modern financial entitlements associated with divorce?

It does not prescribe those rights.

Beginning in the nineteenth century, American states increasingly expanded women's property rights, custody claims, and legal independence. These changes altered the traditional authority structure of marriage and made divorce more economically feasible.

By the late nineteenth century, women were already receiving nearly two-thirds of American divorce decrees.

In 1969, California enacted America's first modern no-fault divorce law. The requirement to prove traditional marital wrongdoing was removed.

The question is not simply whether these reforms were intended to help women. It is whether expanding individual divorce rights at the expense of marital permanence reflects the wisdom of Scripture.

A legal right can be created with good intentions and still undermine an institution that society depends upon.

Christ declared, “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” — Matthew 19:6 KJV

God's commands concerning marriage must remain the standard by which human laws are judged.

🔥 1922: Police the Clothing. 2026: Police the Looking.

A century ago, police in some American communities enforced public decency laws. Women could be cited for bathing suits exposing too much leg.

Today, women wear extremely short shorts, crop tops, and skin-tight leggings leaving little to the imagination.
Yet who gets condemned? Men for LOOKING.

Should men gawk at women? No. Men must exercise self-control.

But here's the irony: Why must men exercise self-control with their eyes while women supposedly need none in what they wear?

📖 1 Timothy 2:9 (KJV):
"In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety..."
Consider Paul's words:

• Modest apparel: Appropriate, respectable clothing.
• Shamefacedness: Modest reserve and propriety.
• Sobriety: Sound judgment and SELF-CONTROL.

Paul commands women to exercise self-control in their appearance.

Yet modern culture demands self-control from men while defending unlimited freedom for women to expose or accentuate their bodies.
God designed men to be visually attracted to women. Revealing clothing draws attention.

And LOOKING IS NOT LUSTING.

Jesus condemned looking to lust (Matthew 5:28), not merely noticing a woman. Romans 7:7 connects sinful desire with coveting.

Biblical modesty requires standards at every level of authority.

Civil governments should establish minimum public decency laws.

Churches should set modesty standards for their activities.

Husbands and fathers should set standards for their wives and daughters.

The strictest applicable standard should prevail.

A stricter church standard governs church activities. A stricter public ordinance governs public dress. A stricter household standard governs that household.

We've abandoned public modesty while condemning men for noticing immodesty.

Why is self-control demanded of men's eyes but rejected for women's clothing?
