Food can be anabolic or fattening depending heavily on how insulin-sensitive you are.

When you’re lean, active and training hard, your muscles are basically empty tanks. You deplete glycogen, then when you eat carbs, insulin helps drive glucose back into muscle where it can be used for fuel, recovery and growth.
The more muscle you carry, the bigger that storage tank becomes.

But when you’re inactive, carrying excess body fat and constantly eating processed carbs and fats, that system starts working against you. Your muscles respond worse to insulin, glucose stays elevated longer, your body has to pump out more insulin, inflammation rises and nutrient partitioning gets worse. That’s insulin resistance.

So improving insulin sensitivity is one of the biggest things you can do if you want food to work more in favor of muscle instead of fat.

The goal isn’t to fear insulin. The goal is to make your muscles extremely responsive to it.

Comment “FUEL” and I’ll send you the full framework for increasing your insulin sensitivity

Let's draw a comic page :)

Very curious how many people are interested in the process. Would love to hear feedback.

New Elder Scrolls-inspired song just dropped! It’s always a treat to work with my friend @bslickmusic so when he asked if I wanted to sing on this song for a new Morrowind fan film called “The Sleeper” by SGM Play, it was a no-brainer.

Check out the full video on BSlick’s channel or listen on your favorite listening platform!
