Cunha saves Man United and Carrick. Old Trafford is Special!!!

Big road trip video going live on HG later, as you join me in the Jaguar Project 7 on a drive through Italy and then on to Greece. We kick off close to Florence, drop by Ferruccio Lamborghini’s farm for lunch and then on to Gran Sasso where 22 years ago to the day I did a story in @officialevomagazine on taking two Zondas to this little known area of Italy.
From there we continue to head south and after a few days touring Puglia, take a ferry to Greece and then on to Athens.
In total, it was 1,100 amazing miles and hugely enjoyable. I’ve included more details on where we stayed along the way and how I go about planning road trips like this one, as I often get asked about this in the comments.
The slight downside is the video has ended up being 52mins long but I’m keen to see if adding more what could be termed ‘lifestyle’ content is what viewers want to see.

Today marks 10 years since my dad passed away. It’s been a minute since I’ve posted on here but this feels like quite a monumental reflection period in my life.

I wanted to share something that happened on my dad’s birthday last year which still sticks with me to this day. My little sister recently got engaged & she surprised me with something I’ll never forget.

On December 7th last year, my sister surprised me with pitch side access to the Fulham vs Crystal Palace & this is where she asked me to walk her down the aisle as my dad wouldn’t be able to. Something I will never forget. Big shoutout to @fulhamfc who sorted everything out for us when they found out the context behind it all ❤️

My dad & I went home & away to Fulham games with my sister coming along too when the chance arose. This particularly happened in my early teenage years onwards & created a close bond with my dad. Sometimes I don’t think he cared as much about the football as I did, but he did it as it brought us closer together. The toy dog in the photo is something I gave to him as a kid when my parents got divorced & he took it everywhere with him.

I say all this as I feel a wave of emotion today. Not only for the above story for which I’ll forever be grateful to my sister for, but for what I’ve experienced without my dad. A lot has happened, and I feel I’ve achieved a lot in the last decade. I just wish he could have seen it all.

Most importantly, I know a lot of people have also lost parents & people close to them over this last decade & it’s tough. All I can say is that it gets easier & we should be grateful for the great memories we have of our loved ones.
