Big news! Writer Retreats are back. 🌋

I'm over the moon to announce we'll be hosting writing retreats again at the Karuna Community on the shores of Lago Atitlán, Guatemala, with course originator, friend and author supreme Luke Armstrong.

If you've been carrying a writing project around in your head for longer than you'd like to admit, this is for you.

Past attendees have left with:
📖 A real handle on their craft, not just inspiration
📖 Clarity on what their creative path actually looks like
📖 Meaningful progress on their work,
📖 A concrete plan for what comes next

Lago Atitlán has a way of cutting through the noise. Luke and I are going to make sure you use every hour of the retreat well. First one is this November, and we will be running a retreat in January and February also. 🎉 by @karunaatitlan

Lokah Samastah is out everywhere now!!!
ִֶָ. ..𓂃 ࣪ ִֶָ🪽་༘࿐

I could say so much about this song but i think the lyrics do most of the work here
so I'll share them below:

This is what I know
We are all the same
As the fire and the water
Our joy and in our pain

Wanting to be loved
Wanting to be whole
Walking through the dark
In the unknown

Lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu

And our time is short
In this strange dream
Before we go back
To where we’ve always been

Back to everything
The salt upon the wind
The fire on the altar
The maps under our skin

The lights on the river
The change and the stillness
All this strange weather
The constant resurrecting

And there is no forever
Except what is
Right here in the moment
Infinite

Lokah samastah sukino bavantu

And this is what I know
We are all the same
As the fire and the water
In our joy and in our pain

Wanting to be loved
Wanting to be whole
Walking through the dark
Walking each other home

i am deeply honored and thrilled to share that my song Lokah Samastah is out now with @thekarunakirtancollective 🎊🎊🎊

This song is a prayer for remembering our oneness with all things - the fire + the water, the joy + the pain…and remembering that we exist in a web of interconnectedness… and we are all together in this strange dream, in the great mystery… just mirrors of each other in the great dance🌀
a reminder ultimately to have compassion for yourself and all other beings. and to treat everything like it is sacred and alive, because it is, and we are all linked by infinite mycelial threads🌿

I can’t wait to sing it at many, many kirtans for many years to come, and am so happy it is out in the world now. here’s a little about what it means to me. now it’s yours. thanks for listening 💜🪶 by @karunaatitlan
