During the 2025 season, I decided to create a Championship belt for our team. I named it the Progressive Champion belt. The belt was given to a player after each game, who showed progress during the game. Each week it was a different player who showcased progress and development, which is the whole reason behind youth sports. Throughout eight weeks our excellent coaching staff help the processes as well. Here are the players from each week.

Week 5. Jack Dutra and Carter Gutierrez
Week 6. London Westbrooks
Week 7. Braylon Arrington
Week 8. Angel Ramirez

At our banquet I let the players put a name in the hat which couldn’t be their own, but one of their teammates they’ve seen make most progress. They had know idea I would be giving the belt away to the player with the most votes. The 2025 Progress Player of the year winner, chosen by the players was, CARTER GUTIERREZ, who was a first year player.
