THANKS Lifeline Theater for selecting me as one of five national finalists for your 2026 BIPOC Adaptation Workshop. After a wide call, and many excellent submissions, it was an honor to chat with your company about adapting a classic novel and folding that novel into a play that might reveal, through drama, what horrors we now face in the current political climate. I really believe in this new/ concept play which ( in my style) investigates the literary life of a poet & novelist’s work and utilizes inter textually to arrive at a possible new meaning.
