7 months agoSurely all the men in parliament should have been horrified. Also if we, men, had actually done something to stop this happening. Then maybe our feelings should be given a look. It's time to stand up and call other men out for bad behaviour. It's time to stop saying boys will be boys.

9 months ago💯 AGREE! People (ie mostly men) say "not all men" to protect someone's (ie: mostly mens) fragile ego.
9 months agoThe victims are SO relieved when you tell them hey, but Bob doesn't do crap like this. Phew!
9 months agoIt’s nearly all women at the hands of men at some point at their life… and it’s all men that know at least one man and do nothing about it so it’s all man.
9 months agoSurely it goes without saying that people were horrified, let’s focus on the culture of privilege and entitlement which enables this…. This stuff hurts humanity…
9 months agoMen centering themselves and their feelings in these conversations takes away the focus from where it should be - the epidemic of male violence against women and children. Also, being horrified about child abuse in a parliamentary setting shouldn't be praised. It's the bare minimum of human empathy and decent behaviour.
