Amoake Baofo’s solo exhibit in Los Angeles is a celebration of art x architecture x interiors. I felt welcome in the home he created for us to absorb his paintings in large scale, up close and personal.

I discovered Amoake’s work a couple years ago through a coffee table book and have admired the vibrancy in which he showcases Black beauty. One of my favorite elements are the combo of deep purples, caramel browns, and rich mochas to capture the richness in our skin tones. Truly a celebration of Black beauty.
