Every year, I decide at the last minute to hand-make Valentine’s for the kids to take to their classmates.

Toddlers are unpredictable, but I try to roll with it. It’s all part of the dance.

Happy EARLY VOTING DAY! Oh yeah, and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!👻 🎃 It always makes me feel proud. To line up with all the diverse people from your neighborhood, to participate in our sacred right to make our voice heard in how we want our Democracy to grow. People bringing their kids, excited to go behind the privacy screen for the first time. Regardless of what is happening in the city or the country, it seems on Election Day (and on all Early Voting days) everyone is kind and patient. There’s a feeling that what’s happening is important. Because it is. Go and get your sticker and post a picture! It’s very unifying.
