THIS IS 40. 🎉

Over the weekend, I celebrated my birthday… and if I’m being honest, turning 40 hit me harder than I expected.

I wasn’t ready for this milestone. I wasn’t ready to feel older. I just wanted to stay young. 🫠
Somewhere along the way, I realized I had lost pieces of myself…In motherhood, in marriage, in showing up for everyone else. And I was frustrated, thinking that by this age I should have it all figured out and already found my balance.

I needed more time… but forty came anyway, with full speed!

As I close the chapter on my 30s, I’m learning to give myself grace. I may not be the woman I fully aspire to be yet, and I may not be exactly where I thought I’d be. But I am grateful for how far I’ve come. And I’m choosing to stop dwelling on what hasn’t happened yet and start honoring the growth that has.

This season is teaching me to embrace progress over perfection, peace over pressure, and purpose over comparison.

So here I am, stepping into this new chapter with more compassion for myself, more faith in God’s timing, and excitement for what’s ahead.
