Janai is officially an adult today… and I’m not okay. 🥹🎉

How did 18 years go by so fast? It feels like just yesterday I was holding my little boy, and now I’m celebrating the incredible young man you’ve become. 💙

While time has flown by, I’ll always cherish the countless memories we’ve made. I thank God for blessing me with these 18 amazing years and pray He continues to guide, protect, and bless you for many more.

I may not know every plan God has for your life, but I can already see Him putting the pieces together. Watching you grow into the man you are today has been one of my greatest blessings, and I couldn’t be more proud.

Happy 18th Birthday, Janai! I love you more than words could ever express! Here’s to this exciting new chapter! ❤️🎉 @up1nai_

🎓✨ Our Graduate! ✨🎓

High school graduation - a milestone that represents years of hard work, growth, perseverance, and determination. Watching you walk across that stage fills my heart with so much pride.

I am incredibly proud of how far you have come—not just academically, but emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. I’ve watched you overcome challenges, learn valuable lessons, mature into a thoughtful young man, and continue to push yourself toward your goals. Your growth has been remarkable, and the person you are becoming is even more impressive than your accomplishments.

High school has been just one chapter of your story, and what a chapter it has been. Through every success, setback, lesson, and achievement, you have continued to grow with strength, resilience, and character.

As you step into this next season of life, know that we are cheering you on every step of the way. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see all that you will accomplish.

Congratulations, son! 🎓❤️🥹

Guess who’s back!! 🏃🏾‍♂️

After being out for the latter half of the indoor track season and most of the outdoor season due to a hip and knee injury, Janai has officially returned to the track, and just in time for Senior Night. 🙌🏾

We are so proud of the strength, resilience, and determination you showed while working your way back. It wasn’t easy watching your teammates from the sidelines, especially during your senior year, but you never gave up.

We’re so happy to see you back out there doing what you love. Now let’s finish the season strong! 💪🏾

THIS IS 40. 🎉

Over the weekend, I celebrated my birthday… and if I’m being honest, turning 40 hit me harder than I expected.

I wasn’t ready for this milestone. I wasn’t ready to feel older. I just wanted to stay young. 🫠
Somewhere along the way, I realized I had lost pieces of myself…In motherhood, in marriage, in showing up for everyone else. And I was frustrated, thinking that by this age I should have it all figured out and already found my balance.

I needed more time… but forty came anyway, with full speed!

As I close the chapter on my 30s, I’m learning to give myself grace. I may not be the woman I fully aspire to be yet, and I may not be exactly where I thought I’d be. But I am grateful for how far I’ve come. And I’m choosing to stop dwelling on what hasn’t happened yet and start honoring the growth that has.

This season is teaching me to embrace progress over perfection, peace over pressure, and purpose over comparison.

So here I am, stepping into this new chapter with more compassion for myself, more faith in God’s timing, and excitement for what’s ahead.

Thank you, Lord, for another year. 🙌🏾

And thank you EVERYONE for all of the birthday love, I truly appreciate it! 💕

Here’s to 40 — wiser, stronger, and still becoming. ✨

Christmas 2025!🎄
We opted for an experience instead of gifts, and it is now a core memory! 💕That was the first time any of us had been skiing, and we will definitely be back!
And baby the way my face was shining with vaseline, them people was looking at me like 👀, but I was nice and warm! 🤭
