OZI

Last week, by the direction of the office of the Special assistant to the President of the Republic of Nigeria on Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy in collaboration with the Abuja Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center, I had the privilege to exhibit my work in front of special dignitaries, guests, family, friends, loved ones and fellow creatives. Rooted in the shared belief that art is a universal language, Iki Àşà uses photography to illuminate cultural identities and creative expressions of both nations. 🇹🇷 🤝🏽 🇳🇬.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to the S.A Mr Ayomide Adeagbo @ayo_xtreme , The Director at the Abuja Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center Mr Fatih Erkin Mahdum, Amb. Adefunke Oni @phunkybudha , Mr Halilu and the entire team for their hospitality and grace through this process and putting together such a wonderful programme. 🫶🏽❤️🙏🏾.

Special thanks to King George Okoro @georgeokoro for your kind recommendations, God bless you Sir ❤️🙏🏾.

Special shout-out to my co-exhibitors Mr Sope Adelaja @sopeadelaja and Prof. Dr. Tuna Akçay @tunaakcay , who showed an incredible display of cultural heritage through the art of photography.

I’m truly excited as to what is to come from this and deeply motivated to showcasing Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage to the best of my ability. Thank you all. ❤️🙏🏾.
