✍️BOOTLEG BAINTINGS Vol. 01 explores the interplay of Vietnamese religious iconography such as Lady Guanyin and dragon-tiger pairings with beloved comic characters like Garfield, Snoopy and Doraemon. Taking inspiration from bootleg market goods where popular mascots are often janky-looking and miscoloured, Vũtrụ inc. latest paintings becomes a Vina special mix-combination of the goofy and the sacred.
