It’s a wrap! One year of apprenticeship at @miamilifecenter ✅ One of the most didactic and transformative experiences of my life. I learned so much, about the practice and the teaching for sure, but also about myself. I grew and evolved so much in only one year, there’s no way I can put all of that into words 🥹 So I’ll just say that I’m immensely grateful to my mentors @josepharmstrongyoga and @emilia_wholesometraining and also to all the MLC teachers, practitioners and staff that have been all so supportive, it’s been so heart warming for me. To all the people I met along the way, a big THANK YOU because you all made a difference, taught me something and made this year unforgettable and life changing. There is so much love in this community, may this never fade 🩷🤍🩵 PS: if you swipe right until the last pic you’ll see that this year was fraught with obstacles, but I persisted 😅✊🏼🦾

I Was Turned Back By My Father’s Youngest Wife, Sade, When I Tried To Visit Him On His Birthday — Billionaire Razak Okoya’s Estranged Son,Fatai , Recounts 40-Year Rift With Father After Recently Apologising And Pleading For Reconciliation Fatai Okoya, 66, the first child of billionaire businessman Chief Razaq Okoya, has opened up about their 30-year estrangement, revealing his alleged attempts to reconcile with his father. Speaking during a TikTok Live session following his public apology, Fatai said he had repeatedly tried to reach his father, sometimes through his friends, but struggled to get close to him. “I have tried very much to get in touch with my father,” he said, adding, “Most of the time, I was not allowed to get close to him.” Recounting his experience at his father’s 86th birthday celebration on January 12, 2026, Fatai said he received a VIP welcome but was allegedly stopped from approaching his father by his wife, Shade Okoya. “I was turned back by Alhaja Shade Okoya,” he said, claiming he only wanted to greet his father. He added that his father saw him but did not speak, saying, “My father did not have anything to say.” Fatai explained that their disagreement involved a small amount of money he took while younger and reckless. He also cited his decision to marry a woman his father reportedly disapproved of, insisting he was young and in love at the time. He recalled that his grandmother was unhappy about the prolonged rift and once questioned his father over the situation, asking, “What are you going to do to your brother and sister when I am gone?” Chief Razaq Okoya’s brother, who was present during the session, also criticised the alleged intervention that prevented Fatai from seeing his father.Fatai apologised again and appealed for an opportunity to reunite with his father, recalling how close they were during his childhood. The host Yeyekudi called on billionaire businessman Baba Ijebu, a friend of Chief Razaq Okoya, to intervene and help facilitate their reconciliation.
