Ruckus! feb_21.02.26
I am overwhelmed but simultaneously not surprised by how incredible this night was. So much support expressed for local musicians and visual artists alike, and for the overarching power of alternative music and the values that encapsulates; diversity, accessibility, authenticity and safety. Rocking up is enough to see these events happen, but you all additionally TURN the fuck up. This demand is noticed, your voices are heard, and I hope the passion, love and energy from this room is felt as a ripple effect through the community and councils.
I had big dreams that you made reality. I will forever have big dreams so thank you for following this journey, and I’m so excited to see what’s to come.
