A view of Crummock Water and Buttermere from up Mellbreck

Rannerdale Knotts can be seen on the left - that small fell catching the light that stands beside Crummock Water.

If you're in the area during bad weather Rannerdale Knotts is a great option for a low level walk where you still get a bit of a view. It can be tied in with a walk around Crummock Water and a visit to the Kirkstile Inn.
