Call of Duty has come a long way since its first release in 2003 with the original Call of Duty, a gritty WWII shooter that defined the franchise . Fast forward to today, we're at Cal of Duty: Black Ops 7 (2025) - the latest entry in a saga that now spans 24 mainline tities! (50 including the spin-offs)
The contrast is wild: the old COD was brutal, realistic, and drenched in chaos, while the new COD shines with flashy operator skins, neon camos, and battle passes. 👾
This isn't the same franchise we had anymore.
