Lochnagar was an absolute stomp!
With the overhanging cornices cracking around us, our plans had to change dramatically. But that’s the beauty of the mountains you have to adapt and get after it.
@i_madventure stepped up and (possibly!) put up a new line on Triangle Buttress, delivering a phenomenal lead for @scotty_boomboom and me to second. Brilliant effort from all and an unforgettable day out.
The only downside? Watching the lads splitboard effortlessly back to the bothy while I hoofed it on foot… safe to say I was extremely jealous. Still, getting back to a cold beer and a roaring fire waiting for me made it all worthwhile. Hard to beat that kind of welcome after a big day out. 🍺🔥
