A bit about the piece- Although working two dimensionally, I am always simultaneously intrigued with conveying abstract sculptural form. I’m a minimalist at heart and I like breaking things down into their most essential parts; hence the black and white and graphic nature of the work. Difficult to see unless in person is the underlying texture of the wood that comes through and the yummy effect of painting white on white.
