Actor Anthony Anderson paid tribute to late R&B legend Freddie Jackson by playing a heartfelt piano rendition of his classic hit, “You Are My Lady.” Sharing the video on Instagram, Anderson wrote: “A few days ago we lost mrfreddiejackson I had the pleasure of meeting him on several occasions and he always had a smile on his face. I had just wished him a happy birthday. ’You Are My Lady” was the first song I attempted to play on the piano. We lost an amazing human being as well as a talented musician. Rest easy my friend!“ Jackson passed away on October 5, just three days after his 70th birthday. His family confirmed his d*ath but did not disclose a cause. The Grammy-nominated singer previously revealed in 2024 that he was battling kidney disease.
