I’m finally able to write this without crying…
Dear
@scarolina_stuco ,
For the past five years, you’ve been more than just an organization you’ve been my home, my support system, and my StuCo family. You gave me a place where I could be unapologetically myself, and because of you, I found the courage to take a leap of faith moving schools and finding my family at
@mauldinstuco that I will forever be grateful for. You challenged me when I needed it, pushed me when I didn’t even realize I needed it, and shaped me into the person and leader I am today. To be a leader it takes a village to be an autistic leader It takes a state, and I am so blessed to have a whole state that has supported me From the historic steeples of the Lowcountry, to the shag clubs of the Grand Strand, to the mountain tops of the Upstate because of YALL SCASC, I’ve found my voice, my purpose, and my passion. While my student council chapter may have officially closed this past weekend, my story with you is far from over. As well to watch two of my 2 student council kids to take the initiative and have the strength and courage to run for office at my last conference was a true blessing and to be inducted into the Terry McCoy Leadership Hall of Fame! And as always “underneath the palmetto moon WE LEAD!” 💙🤍💙🤍
Thank you, SCASC. I’ll will truly Forever be grateful and I won’t be gone for long….
