🚨We are so excited to welcome Ayodeji Rotinwa as the nonfiction guest editor for our second issue!🙌🏾🙌🏾

•Rotinwa is a Nigerian journalist, writer, and editor whose work explores the intersections of culture, art, and politics across Africa and its diaspora. His reporting and criticism examine contemporary artistic production, cultural movements, and the political conditions that shape them, often focusing on how artists respond to moments of social upheaval and historical reckoning.

He has reported extensively on issues including the restitution of African artefacts from Western museums, press freedom, migration, and the global backlash against queer and women’s rights. Rotinwa’s work has appeared in publications such as The New York Times, Financial Times, Reuters, Frieze, Artforum, National Geographic, The Continent, THISDAY, and Mail & Guardian. Through both text and audio, he documents the cultural and political forces shaping contemporary African life.

• We invite writers from Africa and the African diaspora to submit their essays and life writing for our “Omission “ issue. Click on the #linkinbio for more details. #podapodastories #africanliterature #nonfiction #africanwriters
