This St. Patrick’s Day marked about 1 year since I decided to dust off my violin and start learning to play Celtic music. And what a joyous celebration it was! I got to play with a professional band for the first time, then played at my usual spot with the @celticartscenter , then went to see my favorite local trad band Craic and Bones play at Club TeeGee.

Seeing the way that this style of music has cheered people up and built community for hundreds of years and continues to do so is truly special. I feel super grateful that I get to be a steward of it. Here’s to many more years of good times and music! 🍻🍀🎻🎶
