Premiere night at @danceswithfilms was the stuff of dreams! A perfect debut for the @bigtimemaca “Bed By 9” music video, which I’ve been grinding hard on for the past year and a half. So gratifying to see the jokes land, the VFX come together on the big screen, and to celebrate with my cast and crew. We also won the audience choice award by popular vote!! So grateful that festivals like this exist - I’ve never felt more alive and validated as an indie film person 🥰🎬 photography by @dudestin and @middle_child_sam #filmmaking #independentfilm #musicvideo #losangeles #comedy #vfx #redcarpet #filmfestival #hollywood taken in TCL Chinese Theatres by @christianmklein

Eurotrip 2026 Part 2: Solo traveling in Paris, Copenhagen and Berlin!

After my dad went home, I had two more days on my own in Paris. I hit some museums and then checked out @caveaudelahuchetteoff , a legendary underground jazz venue.

I then did a few solo days in Copenhagen, the highlight of which was “Christiania”, an anarchist commune that has been self-governing since the 70s.

Finally, I decided to return to Berlin since I had such a good time there last year, and was delighted to find two opportunities to indulge my hobby of playing 🎻 in traditional Irish music sessions!

I rented a fiddle from @preisslermusic , then played at Blarney Pub in Kreuzberg and @twofellasberlin in Pankow. Both were lovely sessions, and got me even more stoked on the globe-sprawling power of this music style.

Thank you to meine Freunde @josefine_kuehnel and @veronikabolo for getting great videos of the sessions, and @theberlinermag for allowing me to find them.

And finally, I have to thank fellow VFX king @dascalver for taking me out for a night at Sisyphos! Perfect way to end the trip 😎

I’m back in the states now, EXHAUSTED, but grateful to have had another opportunity to see the world. Au revoir Europe!

Eurotrip 2026 Part 1: London, Bournemouth and Paris with my dad!

This summer I was honored to receive an invite to the wedding of @greg.austin and @maeb.bby in the UK, and decided to build a whole trip around it. I also took the opportunity to bring along my dad, who had never been to Europe before at all!

We started with a couple days in London, seeing iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, and Buckingham Palace.

We then spent the weekend in Bournemouth, enjoying the beachy vibes and attending the wedding at the historic Hinton St. Mary Estate.

Finally, we took the underwater train to France and spent a couple days in Paris! It was my second time visiting this vibrant city, but there’s still so much to explore. I had not yet been to The Louvre museum, so going there for the first time with my dad was really special. Then I got to show him some of my favorite landmarks, the Arc de Triomphe and the Sacré-Cœur Basilica overlook - one of the most beautiful places in the world!

Thank you to my dear friends @jemmakmoss (local 🇬🇧 tour guide) @joannaconnietan and @orianehermange (local 🇫🇷 tour guides) and @tlcern for helping us plan our travel! The Paris golf cart tour from @viator was awesome.

Wishing everyone a safe and fun summer holiday! I’m grateful that I got to have mine 🥰 #travelgram #vacation #europe #london #paris by @christianmklein

This St. Patrick’s Day marked about 1 year since I decided to dust off my violin and start learning to play Celtic music. And what a joyous celebration it was! I got to play with a professional band for the first time, then played at my usual spot with the @celticartscenter , then went to see my favorite local trad band Craic and Bones play at Club TeeGee.

Seeing the way that this style of music has cheered people up and built community for hundreds of years and continues to do so is truly special. I feel super grateful that I get to be a steward of it. Here’s to many more years of good times and music! 🍻🍀🎻🎶

Ecstatic to share that I’ll be out in the world doing Irish fiddle on two separate occasions for St. Patrick’s Day this year, one of which is the first time I’ve ever been hired to play somewhere! It feels very fitting considering that we’re about 1 year from the first moment I decided to try learning to play Irish/Celtic music. It’s taken root in my life in a way I could have never imagined and would love to be able to share it will you all! DM me if you have any questions 💚🎻🎶 #stpatricksday #fiddle #tradirishmusic taken in Los Angeles, California by @christianmklein

Not to brag but I was extremely correct about the weirdly horny future of AI use in marketing….

Link in bio if you haven’t seen my short film @sweetnothingsmov from 2021!

Ended 2025 on a high note by playing some of the traditional Celtic tunes I’ve learned in LA this year at @thegalwayshawl pub in my hometown of Ft. Lauderdale. The craic was on point and it was great to see old friends. Throwing the family orange into this post too for good luck 🐈 Happy Holidays everyone! #pubmusic #fiddle #irishmusicsession #fortlauderdale #hometown taken in Fort Lauderdale, Florida by @christianmklein
