We need bonobo justice at Cornell

I’m sickened every time a story like this surfaces… yet another in a long line of horrific injustices towards women that goes back thousands of years.

And I’m thinking, how do we solve this problem? What can nature teach us about how to deal with violent males.
 Well Bonobos have developed a solution. Coalitions of females that come together to suppress male aggression whenever it pops up. The result? Bonobos are far less violent than their close cousins the Chimpanzees and there is virtually NO killing (Hugo was the first ever observed).

And this is not women’s mess to clean up, but to be honest, men can’t be trusted to police this kind of behavior, because it’s men who turn a blind eye and allow it to happen, just like the 50 other frat brothers on that snapchat did in this case.

Thoughts on this? And what do we name these coalitions? Something that strikes fear into the hearts of men and stops them in their tracks if they even consider harming a female.
