Hello, my dear old friends!! I know I kept saying I was coming back and just not delivering at all but here I am 🙂‍↕️ your patience is much appreciated 💋 I thought it appropriate for my first post back to be a recap of the months I’ve been gone plus showing you what books I’ve read in that timeframe so here ya gooo!

I got a kindle for xmas!! (I did film an unboxing + decorating vlog that never saw daylight lolol so I might show you that someday but who knows) My holidays were pretty uneventful tbh I was quite sick for Christmas which sucked😭 But I did get to start the year with a trip to Big Bear which was a lovelyyy and cozy time. I also began a new job as a nanny for two very rambunctious (but quite adorable) girls mid January which might have also contributed to me having no energy to post lol 😅 February was quite busy and social! I got to celebrate my 28th bday with family and friends (wait until I show you my bookish presents!!) In this time away from you guys I also rekindled an old flame and he came to visit me at the end of February 🥰

As for books I’ve been reading! December was absolutely crazy as you can see. I discovered some new favorite authors (V.E. Schwab and Isabel Cañas), read some very interesting Christmas romances, and finished the year off rereading my favorite small town romance series🙂‍↕️ All in all, I read 12 books in the 12th month which took my number of books read in 2025 to 80✨

Then 2026 started (happy new year btw lolol) and after finishing that reread of The Edens I got into a bit of a slump as you can see. I powered through the last 30% of The Christmas Tree Farm (yes, weeks into January), listened to the audiobook for Yours Truly (yes, AGAIN!), and then spent the rest of the month switching between listening and reading Fruit of the Flesh yet did not manage to finish it until February. In February, I again only finished four books, all of which were audiobooks. I also read about 50% of When the Moon Hatched but honestly my reading experience with this book has been either days were I’ll read 10-20% or days were I barely advance 1%

I missed being creative soooo much, but we are so back🫰🏼 Ly, guys! 💋
