Brian Gibson

Raw rehearsal footage from Monday. Recording a live session this weekend with an artist I really have come to admire since discovering his work on SIGE records around the pandemic/when River was born.

Since then, I’ve dived deeper into marrying my love of visual art with my guitar playing/ambience by beginning the audio / visual project In Relative Obscurity by way of Nevada Arts Council’s project grant for individual artists. IRO was my first project proposal and has really helped me develop in numerous ways; including buying basics like cables, a camera, and programs to help edit the video captured.

I have a really cool group of people helping me this time around and I can’t wait to share more after it’s recorded this weekend.
