Day 3 kicked off with morning research presentations and a keynote from Col. (Ret) Dr. Pamela Williams on the power of gathering. Workshops and a chief resident research forum followed, leading into an afternoon keynote by BG (Ret) Dr. John Andrus explaining the concept of gather, connect, recharge. The day closed with the “You Don’t Know Jack” showdown—won by the Air Force.

If the concept of rebirth had a face, it could easily be that of Josh Homme. A face that looks as though it were carved from the rock of the American West’s deserts, much like the music he has spent years shaping with Kyuss, @queensofthestoneage and other projects. That same face graces the cover of Rumore’s October issue, marking the release of the new QOTSA album, Perfecth, on October 30 via @matadorrecords.   Nicholas David Altea (@nicholas_d_altea) met him in Milan, the very place where, two years ago, one of the most intense and difficult periods of his career began, eventually leading to the recording in Paris of the documentary Alive In The Catacombs. A conversation about music, life, death, pain and rebirth — one that could only become a cover story.

Nicholas David Altea l’ha incontrato a Milano, proprio dove due anni fa era iniziato uno dei periodi più intensi e difficili della sua carriera, culminato con la registrazione a Parigi del documentario Alive In The Catacombs.
