Some moments from our first year midterm: Weaving the Weather.

This project asks students to move from observation to translation, reading environmental forces and reconstituting them as spatial systems. Through weaving, these forces are transformed into relationships between surface, volume, texture, and time.

The work begins to frame how architecture can emerge from conditions rather than objects, where material and atmosphere shape experience.

It has been a rewarding semester working with this group, and I am looking forward to how these ideas continue to develop.
